Happy New Year
Looks like I'm slowly grinding my way to my thousandth post, as BGSU and Ida-Ho waste TV electrons in the Humanitarian Bowl. BGSU just lost it at the last minute. And they've got the same helmet color as the Browns.
Blogging really slowed down, after more than 5 years at it. Facebook taking up a lot of the time, and FarmVille taking up a lot of that time. Great corn storage that! Early 2010 marks the end of Child Support, and got massive whining, begging and pleading from the ex a couple of weeks ago, followed by nothing. So it is possible that the fucking judge could get creative, but extremely unlikely.
Overall, things are good going into 2010. Hope to keep working at my current job, but one never knows. Otherwise, life is going very nicely.

Nice Christmas Eve and very good day today. Last night was at the girl friend's son's house. Very nice dinner, and got the latest Star Trek movie as a gift, and gave Spyro Gyra DVD as one. Bad news that the local smooth jazz station is changing format, but that's what MP3 players and IPods are for.
More tech assistance today when I visited my sister. Got a lot of her photos copied to her new Apple. Peeps, as you know, we have been screwed since the election of President Obama. But that is no reason not to have fun along the way! My sister wants to apply for an admin job at the local Community College. I read the job description, then advised strongly that her boy friend, he of the FreeCreditReports.Com resemblance apply instead. Then she could rename her son, who's dad was from South Africa to Ubuntu. Then I would never have to worry about another season of The Goode Family. It would be right there for me in real life!

FB is all FU
It's a mess. Merging real life with bloglife. Like basically, many of the blogfriends who have made it over to FB are a couple dozen good old boys, down to earth. And Erica. Also down to earth in a NYC kind of way. This pretty much duplicates one of the bloodbath ERP installations of my youth. And it had a damn lot of drinking, too. As of late a few survivors of the Real Life project have straggled on to FarceBook. So it's like the regular Seinfield group confronting the Bizarro Seinfeld group. Weird.
Also, amongst the CaptainSQL High School classmates on FB, much mingling of Track 1 (AP types) with Track 4 (2/10" above special) peeps. I blame massive screw ups in testing in the 1950s.

Thankfully not too much Kumbiyah at the last family get together. But it still leaves the problem about what to do with various blue leaning cities, states, enclaves, satrapys, and regions. It is my conclusion that those running said entities are not as good as, or smart as others. I don't mean their more conservative counterparts, necessarily. I mean, they're dumber than the average bear. Or table. Or suit of clothes.
Here is one illustration why said losers should not be in charge of as much as an unattended trip to the bathroom. I don't spend a lot of time worrying about floating polar bears, et. al. More complaining about local meatheads will follow next month as I near the end of Child Support, with that 2% poundage for sending donughts and whores to the local Cuyahoga County wastrels.

Having too much fun
to post much. Also, College Football revs up again tomorrow with the hotly contested New Mexico Bowl. Let's see a show of hands to watch these guy freeze their gederim off in a New Hampshire Bowl. Life is good. Lots of happiness visiting my daughter in The Big City a couple of weeks ago, and painted the town in town last weekend. Can't seem to settle down tech-wise. Too much hanging loose while waiting for shoes to drop all year. But the big Severance package is still available, until after Child Support has safely passed in the New Year. Expect to hear big bellowing rage from the ex, and her asshole friends the. I'll keep you posted on what they can suck as the date for cutoff nears.

Pretty busy with Real Life, and Farmville. Met The Duke today, and sent a Salami to our men and women in uniform. Hope they enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the sandwich.

Last weekend was excellent, visiting my daughter in NYC. Lotsa fun. More fun this weekend: pre-holiday staycation. Facebook taking up lots of time. Farmville taking up lotsa CPU.
