Things have settled down a lot. Had a nice Thanksgiving, and mom moved into the nursing wing of the assisted living facitlity. She needs to be there, although it's still a little creepy. A very quiet weekend as I wrap up a lot of stuff I didn't get done while in class. People were polite during the holiday meal. I did, however, have fun resurrecting the Bush-draft rumor. Is scaring liberals with their own rumors a hobby? Ain't I a stinker?

Just flew in from the big city last night. Boy are my arms tired! Class was good. Thanksgiving was great. Mom moves into the nursing wing tomorrow. Life is good.

Aaaaahhhh! Much better since court. I've been sleeping well and many fewer outbursts from the kid. This afternoon I head off to the Big City for the rare professional training. Enjoy.

I Win
Wasted a lot of time in court today as the Magistrate lectured my attorney about placement of commas in the agreement. Anyway, the agreement was OK'd and the court will be out of my kid's education business. It's so relieving that I'm still stunned.

It was a good weekend. I got together with the girl friend and a pizza on Frinite. Saturday I dialed in to work and things went smooth and fast (kinda like me!). I've been sleeping well since the temperature dropped. Tuesday is the big hearing, which could be all or nothing.

The ex had another visit to the ER this week. High blood pressure. Her telling my daughter that she was responsible for mom getting sick paid off. My kid blames herself for it now. And she blames me.

I'm having none of it. I told my daughter so. And I'll be happy to so inform anyone else.

The fine results of private school are coming to fruition also. My daughter has been told she doesn't have enough money to go shopping at the mall with her more upscale classmates. This will not get better.

Of course the first thing on the ex's mind once out of the hospital was to move out of town, far away from me. That way the next time she goes to the hospital my kid can go to a foster home and I'd never see her again. Logical, huh?

A good weekend with my daughter. The hearing is a week and a half away but I'm sleeping better now.

Friends and strangers still going mental over the election. These people need to get a grip. As soon as I see the eyes glaze over and facial tic when discussing the President's enunciation and grammar it's time for me to vamoose.
