Rough weekend for the kid. She was having a bad temper tantrum with the ex, so the ex called me over. I didn't have to take my daughter but that was followed Saturday afternoon with a small stroke by my ex. She was in the hospital most of the weekend so I had my kid. Messy.

I will be signing off complaining about project managers soon since I'll be assuming performance management responsibility for the DBMS in house, along with a slice of off-hours support. Too young (and handsome) to retire in any case.

Very rough time last week. I had my daughter most of the week when my ex was sick with the flu. A lot of problems between my ex and daughter. I've been warned it could happen around this age, all of the warning from the internet and anecdotally, thank you very much. The kid had a good weekend with me. Overall, I think too many moms at her school are trying to engineer their kid's social lives.

No big tragedy at work but last week was rough. Many diverse project demands.

Collapsified
Saturday collapsified. My girlfriend worked late and exhausted herself so here I am, again, blogging on a lonely Saturday Night. Trying not to think about the awfull "what if" of the ex moving my daughter out of town. Not really much to do when your time gets chopped up like this.

Project manager complaints continue. Like Straight White Guy noted in a comment below, it's endemic.

Not much news from the daughter. I'll have to keep on top of the move out of town threat.

Good weekend with my daughter here. Not a lot more arguments about High School. I plan on hearing about this from the ex close to the end of the year. There has to be some decision by then, and there's no use in calling up attorneys for this until I hear further.

Bad dream about work last night. I seldom dream about work. I was doing some rather "intimate" developer interface with a blonde, and she let slip that one of the project managers would not have me on his project again. Is this a sign of paranoia?

My daughter was here tonight. She was really happy, which is great! Still really buzzed about the class trip.
