Why Does Our President
bow to foreign tyrants? Did he feel cheated of an opportunity to grovel before Yul Brinner?

The Archie Bunker posting was timely. LittleSis will be here from Chicago next Friday, leading to massive Kumbiya with the other escapees from The Goode Family. Fortunately, Cincinnati owned the Illini in the annual Buy Free Pizza for Cappy Because Your Team Are Losers Trophy. I just declared that the trophy for the Illini/Bearcats series. That way I end up with free pizza.
Spent Thanksgiving very nicely at a large gathering of the girlfriend's in-laws. Didn't know a danged soul. I liked it that way. Got along good with her son in law, watching Detroit get thumped. Then back to dowload hell when my antivirus provider didn't recognize the ID/e-mail address they confirmed to me.
At Martinis tonight a huge, massive drughead from my High School class of many, many years ago showed up and really creeped out the bartender, et. al. I thought the guy would have been institutionalized by now. Instead, he's an attorney.
Next weekend, visiting my daughter in NYC. Preparing the written part of the test for the boy friend. Live fire testing will have to wait for a more firearms friendly environment.

Almost Thanksgiving. This one always brought tears of joy to my dear, departed Dad. Later he obtained a Meathead son in law.

More good old fashioned football beatdowns on the way. The best kind. Ones that I can use to irritate my liberal siblings. Of course, there's the Woody Hayes classic tomorrow. Then Cincinnati gets to dismantle Illinois, for another rip on the brother in law.
We won't mention the Browns, where the entire team is a special team.

Gimme the Friggin' Deed
Some assholes replaced the fine tradition of the Tomahawk with the stupid Land O'Lincoln Trophy. Anyways, Northwestern won it yesterday fair and square. I expect to have the deed to Lincoln's land on my desk tomorrow morning.

Pretty good Beercats game against WVU tonight. Not so easy against a ranked team. But that's making the Big East noticeable this year.
Tonight's Martinis have inspired a way our beloved President can win with making nice to Khalid Shake Mo-Ham-Ed and his liberal pantywetter fans. He can have his trial in NYC and a all the ACLU lawyers he can eat. And my tax dollars should pay for unmothballing a C47-Skytrain from Wright-Pat, retired 1946 for that luxury trip to Manhattan. Hell, I'll even help refuel it. That E on the fuel gage stands for excellent, Right? This inspiration brought to you by booze.

In Memoriam
Rusell Ackoff
OK. You've never heard of this guy. And quit snickering about the name. But I read some of his books back in the daze when I was taking Operations Research, including a class with the Burton V. Dean. Yes, I got my BVD's into OR at the time. He was a big applied math whiz back in the day when a Simplex assignment meant the weekend was shot to hell. That was before more powerfull processors made it possible for every snot nosed AP Poindexter to rip one of those babies out overnight, and even my former brother in law, Dumbass, managed to masturbate his way through an MBA with this stuff. Russ honchoed Buweiser to world domination, leaving in it's wake the likes of POC, Red White and Blue, and Old Style.
But no matter how good we were in crunching the numbers (and other stuff) by hand, we never could optimize our chances with hot babes.

Works for Me!
You Are Most Like George W. Bush |
So what if you're not exactly popular? You still rule the free world. And while you may be quite conservative now, you knew how to party back in the day! |

Reunion
Of the old Big 8 Firm I worked for in the 80's at Browns Stadium tonight. It was fun catching up on old times and even older techies. And the Stadium is so clean! It's not like the Browns are providing much wear and tear!

At home all day. Thankfully, the Browns are providing relief by having a bye week. OSU put up a great game yesterday, and N.U. provided a much needed beatdown of Iawa to pave the road to Roses for the Bucks. Go Poiple!

A very good long weekend, after the Browns fiasco show up at Chicago to collect their damn paychecks and not much else game, we headed to Little Italy to noodle around, then massive doses of Guarino's lasagna. Next day, more noodling around the West Side Market area and more noodles at the Cambodian place there. Sunday and next Thursday will be all day on call for a conversion, no leaving home. I've stocked up the fridge, and obtained Our Town with Paul Newman, Delta Farce with the downstate DBAs, The Manchurian Candidate with President Barack Hussein Obama, and Little Caesar with his big brother, Jimmy Dimora. Big enough to have his own goddam gravity. Farewell martinis for a week tomorrow night. I'm ready to rock and roll.
