A good weekend heads into the history books. Good for OSU with a convincing pounding of PennState, good for the Brownies. A couple stray sleep-through calls today, not much left to go on-call this weekend and the Hawaii trip is on the horizon. Aslo, I figger I gots about 6.5 yearz for helping the kid thru college. Looks like 2008 will be a Linux year. That ought to keep the tech skizzles up 2 d8.

Attended first ever Shul potluck this evening. Massive indigestion ensued. Met large blonde afterward at Kiddush. On the positive side, former Texas resident, tho not Arlen. On the negative, current People's Republic inhabitant.

Work, work, work
On call this week, and it got off to a hearty early start last evening. Big load tonight, too. End of season for Inidans, too bad. At least no conflict between World Series and real life work now. And back to my dutifull worship of OSU.

My daughter is here this weekend and she sez scum removal is not a problem for her now at school. Good. Otherwise things going OK, except for last night's Tribe collapse in the ALCS. Also moving into off-hours support next week so watch for more lunatic ravings in this space. College football mayhem continues but OSU still rules. At this level of tumult, what odds on Stanford vs. Vanderbilt for the national championship? Last weekend in Chicago with the sisters was nice. Not much kumbiyah at all.

I'm back from Chicagoville, my sisters seemed amazingly lifelike, and The Tribe rules! Still confounded by the BCS rankings. OSU reigns supreme, at least for now. Work will be going through a headcutcount, so it's a little uneasy right now.

She's Back/New & Ancient Problem
My daughter was here this weekend. Caught the fabutastic Indians triumph on Frinite with her. And the megaton level whining of the YankeesMedia about those midges on Saturday. Truly a plague is upon us! Nobody can withstand the terror of the midges! Run! Hide!
She asked to return to coming here every other weekend, as it should be and of course I agreed. Very happy to have her back. Now she's #1 in her class! Also, she's the #1 target of a few scum. My mission - scum removal. It's the oldie but baddie and eventually almost every Jew runs into it sometime or other. She reported it as she should and I'll be keeping a close eye on this, with followup when needed. The school has been good and very security minded so I expect them to do it.
Very good, cool response on my kids part. Appropriate that when this shizzle starts coming down the Kumbiyah boys setp aside, and she takes more interest in thems that can and would address this issue.

I have the kid this weekend. Yahoo has delivered babeage in a multiple of three this week, so was busy. Chicago next weekend. The Tribe beat the Yankees last night. Eat it, national spertz media!
