Yarzheit
Lit the candle for my mother's memory tonight. Frinite is her Yarzehit service. I still do miss her. The ensuing Kumbiyah has only gotten worse, to the point where family get-togethers are no fun. Here's the blasts from the past, 2005.

Mom's funeral was yesterday. It was a commemoration of a joy filled life, and she brought happiness to all who knew her. It was a long day.I simply cannot believe that many people can't get beyond their hatred of George Bush and of America, even in a time of grief. I do not comprehend why proficiency testing of school children is evil, why Bush devised it in a nefarious plot, or why it is important to discuss this before and after my mother's funeral. Toward the end of the evening the entire discussion was leftist lamentations over lost elections. I want to avoid these people as much as possible. Their behavior was ghoulish.

Gone
My mother passed away this morning. She never had a bitter day in her life. Her memory will be a blessing.
