Sometimes you've gotta roll up the sleeves, pop the hood, and do the damn job yourself. Like last week, when I assigned a pretty simple task to our Indian Subalterns. These guys have been working on a simple program, for which I wrote the SQL (guts of the thing) and handed it off to them, and they're still farting around with the procedural code. Nothing to it. All ya have to do is format the output and away you go. I even offered a non-procedural approach and wrote it, but they have to have the last say.
And I was even sober when I wrote it!
