Jump the Shark?
Deathmarch level testing has been called off for now, giving Cappy more time to blog. Usual summer refusal to notify Cappy of daughter's whereabouts landed the kid's arrival time from summer camp on target during big deal production installation. I've covered this exposure at work in the unmanly way of having shifts with another DBA during the 48 hour install process. Too bad. Taking care of kid is Numero Uno priority. Will deal with consequences at work later.
The ex delivered this gem of information, that she wouldn't be here to pick up kid from camp while I was doing 48 hour test of systems conversion and the ex was in the hospital for a week. Perfect timing!
