I must be the world's biggest sucker. The ex has a heart condition and other health problems, so my kid and I helped dig her car out of the driveway today. See previous postings about "no good deed ever goes unpunished".

The week was good, but slow moving and I'm ready to go back to work tomorrow, and look forward to New Years festivities. Soon I'll be complaining about work. That will never change.

The kid is having a good, if slow paced vacation here. She rented Napoleon Dynamite yesterday. She really likes that movie! I don't know where last week's crisis went. Maybe it was some power grab by her mom. Maybe it's her mom trying to get attention. A big teenage rebellion is likely at some time. I just don't know what the problem was, but it seems better for now.

We've turned into a frozen tundra for Christmas. The kid is holding up well and writing up a storm. Yesterday we trekked across town to our favorite restaurant, dragging my sister, niece, and a few of her friends with us. No fatalities, and it was worth it. The needling of liberals continues! Watch for that darn old draft!

Having a good week with the kid, and off work. She made a turkey on Monday night. It was fantastic. For being on the edge of doom last week she's pretty open with me now. Of course the entire Hillary Fucking Village glommed in with Heil Hillary (Clinton) Feminazi BS. Not this time around.

Yep, we are in full teenage rebellion mode. Looks like the ex has gone overboard on control in the last 9 years, so here it is. The kid is acting cruel to her and saying horrible things about me. I hope it doesn't get to the point of juvenile court. I'm at quits with the psychobabble, so if it does get that far it might be bye-bye. It is time for my daughter to have a whiff of Junior Jail, since she wants to be a bad girl.

Did anyone see the Spike TV Fatherhood Special last night? I saw part of it surfing around. It was nice that it made it onto TV. But how many of us are college football coaches or Dale Earnhart? It would have been better to have real people, like Acidman, or John, or Homer. The feminazis would never allow that.

It looks like my daughter has decided to be a bad girl. My ex let me know tonight during the school play that the principal recommended that she talk to the School for Bad Kids. The principal didn't inform me about that. I'm pissed. Fortunately we are going to get more work with the kid's counsellor. It looks like I've spent a lot of bucks to have some asshole suggest that I lose my kid.

My daughter has requested that I solve all of her problems by moving to Zimbabwe. I have declined to do so.

Life is still good. Work is busy and this week has been packed with holiday stuff and pulling our leg-humping project managers chestnuts out of the fire, but I'm happy. Beer, King of the Hill, what could be better?

Things are going well here in Normalville. Work is getting busier at the end of the year, but our management has (wisely!) reintroduced software that will help us do our job. The kid is OK, and it's pretty quiet overall. That's exactly the way I like it.
