The ex went to the emergency room last night while I was out. She returned but my kid was with her. Of course I got the whole drama queen BS about "not being there for her".
That's strange. I was there when the ex encouraged my kid not to spend the holidays with me as scheduled. The ex drags the kid overseas, and there's never any concern about me "being there for her". Other divorced parents have social lives, even get married but I'm guilty if I have one and am not immediately available.
As long as I'm in town and can pick up messages, I'm "there" for my kid.
