Back from the big city. I think it was OK. My daughter seemed to like it. Shopping in weird ethnic neighborhoods was a big hit. Possible legal battles with the ex, and what to say to my daughter always creates a bad feeling, no matter if I'm on vacation. I had e-mailed my august attorney before leaving, and haven't gotten a response. Waiting for his advice is like waiting for a medical diagnosis that one dreads. Anyway, I've got the rest of the weekend off.
