Notified by asshole relative during my birthday lunch that I'm just a friggin' slacker, she trying to excuse her waste of oxygen boyfriend. Very nice. Something to remember during those 3:00 AM production installs.

Probably true
You are a Freedom Crusader, also known as a neoconservative. You believe in taking the fight directly to the enemy, whether it’s terrorists abroad or the liberal terrorist appeasers at home who give them aid and comfort.

First (probably last) year anniversary on this job. This weeks deadlines; no training on the technology, not even a cheat sheet, no indication of which commands to run to test this shit.

Worth a Look

1st year anniversary of this job on Tuesday. More shitty test scripting with less training than ever. I know at some point I'll be loading up the jalopy and heading up I-71 and leaving this place. Looking forward to it.

A Great Start
|Sunday, May 01, 2011
Weekend was good, getting together with the girlfriend both nights. Next weekend back to the Fortress of Database Excellence to pay bills, and mothball the place so I can sit through post-install hands-on for the following two weekends. Then at end of month my daughter comes home from college. for a few weeks. For some reason they absolutely trust guys halfway across the globe, but the in-house staff has to have ass-in-chair during critical installs.
Job market looks like it is opening up a little, and want to extend marketability to Data Analytics. A lot has changed since the days of me as a Statistician, and I estimate about 1/2 year of pretty intense after hours training to come up to speed in SAS and what not. Can't even tell if it will pay off, but sounds like the best bet to get off fucking test scripting.
