Happy Thanksgiving
And it was in fact a happy one! The ex was in the hospital so my kid was with me all week until 4:00 PM today. The ex used this, as always, to sling bullshit about our marriage that ended 10 years ago at the kid. This time instead of chiming in my daughter seemed reluctant to go back to mom tonight. Believe me, it was no happy chore to take her to the hospital daily. It was good for wasting 3 - 4 hours a night after a full day of work.
My daughter is doing great, grades are up there, all in Honors courses and she's going to start work soon. Also started Sunday religious discussions. All this is damn good. I'm proud of her!
