Step up night, previewing Jr. High School for my daughter. Lotta fawning over the ex. Lotta parents with $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Not me. They've got big plans for my kid. Too bad the local Jr. High offers Algebra in the 7th Grade, has statewide winners in a writing contest, and laboratory science courses. That's pretty good when stacked up against fell good nostrums and self-congratulatory parents.

This is gonna take an attorney to fix.

One other thing. It occurred to me a week ago that I had an entire one rock CD in my puny collection. Divorce will do that to a man! Since then I've doubled that, adding the immortal Roy Orbison to Credence Clearwater Revival. There's lots more to go, and I doubt that I'll catch up to the past. In any event, I still like Jazz better.

Still going good! It looks like my daughter's summer camp is squared away. Work is swell, too. I've also discusses what happens after the private school to which the darned court makes me shell out money ends. She's in the middle of the 6th grade, but is very advanced and has taken the SAT and did pretty darn well. So it's time to reveal the equation that more tuition, such as for high school = no $ for college.

Her school is hyping private high schools in our area very intensely. This is stupid. The district where we live offers 14 Advanced Placement courses, so it is in no way deficient! Of course, the architecture may not be up to snuff for the Domestic Relations Court rats, but that's too bad. If they don't like it, they ought to buy her a country club membership!

Well, here it is. The marvelous CaptainSQL blogspot. Great to be here. Really, folks. I'd just like to say to the analyst that moved to Florida at the end of the year, thank you for making my life so much better. BY LEAVING!!! You're not missed.

Eight and a half years since divorce and the ex is still playing my daughter like a pawn in a chess game. We've had a break for a couple of years but as high school looms this is going to be up for grabs again.
The kid is doing great at school, and will do great at any high school too. But the important thing to the ex and the ghouls that are with her is to spend as much of my money for private school so I can go broke, even though the local high school offers 14 Advanced Placement courses. Stay tuned for a lot of flaming!
